Step back to the 18th century when the noble Gattini family owned what is now Masseria Fontana di Vite, an estate surrounded by acres once devoted to olive oil and grain production. The name ‘Fontana di Vite,’ or ‘Fountain of Lives,’ harks back to a spring with mythical purity.

After an 1806 expansion, the Masseria was transformed, adding a chapel, an outdoor oven, warehouses, and houses. In 2014, a dedicated team of hospitality experts restored the property and turned it into a picturesque countryside destination.
